3 Shortened Timed Practices

Each test contains approximately 114 questions across 6 dedicated reading passages plus spelling, grammar, and numeracy sections. The three shortened timed practices use largely separate question sets; one spelling question is repeated across two of them.

The NAPLAN Year 5 test is more demanding in every domain. Reading passages are longer and require deeper analysis — identifying author's craft, understanding tension in fiction, interpreting figurative language.
